Tour Schedule
Day 1: Arrival in Haridwar Travel 200 kilometers (7–8 hours) by car to Barkot.
Get to Haridwar, the gateway of the gods, to start your magnificent Char Dham Yatra. Following a cordial greeting, travel to Barkot, which is tucked away in the Garhwal Himalayas. See the well-known Kempty Falls close to Mussoorie while traveling. When you get to the town of Barkot, check into your hotel. Stay at Barkot for dinner and the night.
Day 2: Yamunotri, Barkot, and Barkot
Head to Hanumanchatti (40 km) and Janki Chatti (8 km) after breakfast. The 6-kilometer First Pahad Yatra of Yamunotri will commence here. For your journey, you can hire a horse or a palki. (Expense Not Included). The journey passes through a verdant valley with an abundance of conifers, rhododendrons, cactus, and several Himalayan shrub species.
The westernmost shrine of the Char Dhams, Yamunotri (altitude 3,291 m), lies tucked away in the Banderpunch range (6,361 m). The river Yamuna, the twin sister of Varna, the Lord of Death, originates from Yamunotri. Yamuna is also Surya the Sun's daughter. At a height of 4,321 meters, Champasar Glacier, located one kilometer ahead of the shrine, is the river's true source. Take a holy plunge in the Yamuna River and do Pooja when you arrive in Yamunotri by the afternoon.

Day 3: Travel 100 km (4 hours) from Barkot to Uttarkashi
After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi after checking out of the Barkot hotel. Check into the hotel upon arrival. Located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River, Uttarkashi is well-known for its ancient sites, temples, and ashrams. See the renowned Vishwanath Temple in the evening. Stay at Uttarkashi for dinner and the night.
Day 4: Gangotri, Uttarkashi, Uttarkashi
Drive to Gangotri after having breakfast at the hotel early in the morning. At a height of 3048 meters, Gangotri lies tucked away in the breathtaking Garhwal Himalayas. Take a sacred bath in the Ganges, also known as Bhagirathi at its source, when you arrive in Gangotri. Go to the Temple of Gangotri. The temple to Goddess Ganga from the 18th century is situated close to a holy stone where King Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva. This is where the Ganga is thought to have touched the earth. The temple is a magnificent white granite building that stands 20 feet tall. Drive back to Uttarkashi in the late afternoon after completing Pooja. Eat dinner and spend the night at Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Travel 220 miles (9 hours) from Uttarkashi to Guptkashi
After eating breakfast early in the morning, depart for your next location, Guptkashi. Once there, check into the hotel. The holy site of Kedarnath is 47 kilometers away from Guptkashi. Because it is home to well-known historical temples like Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnareshwar Temple, the town has great religious significance. Get your medical examination in preparation for your trip to Kedarnath the next day. After dinner, spend the night at the hotel or camp.
Day 6: Sonprayag, Guptkashi, and Kedarnath
Check out of the accommodation early in the morning after breakfast and take a drive to Sonprayag. Where would you begin your 20-kilometer journey to Kedarnath? For your journey, you can rent a horse or a doli (Cost Not Included).
One of the Ganges' principal tributaries, the Mandakini, rises in Kedarnath and passes through Gaurikund. Chants of "Jai Bholenath" reverberate over the highlands. The mountains are covered in mists that gradually lift. You are enthralled when you can see the breathtaking beauty. Check in at the government camps or lodges upon arrival. Dinner and the night at Kedarnath's government camps and lodges.
Day 7: Sonprayag, Guptkashi, and Kedarnath
You rise early in the morning, take a bath, and arrive at the temple by 4:45 am for the "Abhishek" to Kedarnath Shiva. The idol can be touched by anyone who enters Garbha Griha. Additionally, you can bow down and touch the deity with your head, etc. You leave the temple after darshan and puja and head back to the government camps and lodges.
The 20-kilometer return journey from Kedarnath to Sonprayag will begin later. You will travel to your hotel (Guptkashi/Rudraprag) after the cars are waiting for you at Sonprayag Car Parking. Guptkashi/Rudraprayag for dinner and the night.
Day 8: 200 km/9 hours from Guptkashi to Badrinath
You leave the hotel this morning at 8:00 a.m. and travel via Joshimath to Badrinath. After breakfast in the morning, leave the hotel and drive through Joshimath to your next destination, Badrinath. For both Buddhists and Hindus, Badrinath is a significant pilgrimage place. The 3133-meter-tall Badrinath temple is devoted to Lord Vishnu.
You reach Badrinath after traveling over a lovely Ghat Road. Check into the hotel upon arrival. You are prepared to travel to Badrinath Temple for darshan in the evening after getting some rest and refreshments. However, you must first visit Tapt Kund (Hot Spring), take a bath, and then proceed to the temple. Built in the shape of a cone with a little cupola of a golden bull and spire, the 15-meter-tall temple of Shri Badrinath Ji is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Return to the hotel later. Dinner and a hotel stay in Badrinath.
Day 9: Joshimath to Badrinath (45 km/2 hours)
Visit the Badrinath Temple for Darshan this morning. Go back to the hotel for breakfast later. You can head to Badrinath for local sightseeing after breakfast. Explore Badrinath's main attractions, including Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Narasimha Temple, and Mata Murti Temple.
After leaving the hotel in the afternoon, make your way to Joshimath. Visit Karanprayag en way. The community also boasts peace and breathtaking natural beauty. Check into the hotel when you arrive in Joshimath. For the remainder of the day, you can unwind or take in Joshimath's splendor. After dinner, spend the night at the Joshimath hotel.
Day 10: Joshimath to Rishikesh/Haridwar (10 hours, 250 miles)
You drive in the early morning after breakfast. Return to Rishikesh, the world's hub of yoga and a spiritual city. Go sightseeing when you get to Rishikesh. Go to Laxman and Ram Jhula. Travel to Haridwar in the evening. The tour concludes with blessings and memories.
